Yes. A BAA is available before service, and Apex signs one before any engagement that involves PHI. Apex will not begin recurring service for any covered entity (hospital, clinic, occupational health practice or healthcare group) without an executed BAA. STAT requests involving PHI also require an executed BAA first.

Onboarding timing is confirmed on the first call. For recurring service or TPA program support, onboarding includes BAA execution, scheduling, billing setup, and operator training on site specifics. AB 2188 construction programs may require additional supervisor-training time.

Apex serves South Orange County, with the rest of Orange County by arrangement. Call before booking any pickup outside South Orange County.

For most requests: location of pickup, destination, frequency, specimen type, and any special handling requirements. For TPA or AB 2188 program onboarding: employee headcount, regulated vs non-regulated worker mix, and existing program documentation. Apex will request additional information during onboarding if needed.
